Privacy policy

Effective 26 August 2026. Operator: Bootable File Formatter.

What the app does

Bootable File Formatter is an Android utility that writes boot files to a USB stick or SD card you explicitly grant through the Storage Access Framework. Files stay on your device. We do not operate a user-account backend.

Data we do not collect

• Name, email, or phone number inside the app
• Location, contacts, photos, or health data
• Contents of your USB/SD card or installer ISO (processed on-device only)

Data processed by third parties

• Google Play Billing — purchase tokens and order IDs to grant credits or Pro. Google’s privacy policy applies.
• Google AdMob — advertising ID, coarse device/network data, and ad interaction for banners and rewarded videos on the free plan. Ads are not shown to Pro subscribers.

On-device storage

Credit balance, rewarded-ad progress, persisted folder URIs, and Pro status are stored in app preferences. Uninstalling the app deletes them. Play purchases remain in your Google account and restore on reinstall.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and is not enrolled in Designed for Families.
